Chainmaille has sprung up everywhere from Couture Runway Shows, High End Boutiques, eBay and many Artisan Market Places such as Etsy and Art Fire; crossing the boundary from "Renaissance Faire Costume" to City Chic.
Spellings may differ "Chain Mail" or "Chainmaille" but one only has to Google the word to find many new and creative interpretations of this Medieval craft designers are bringing to the modern world this fall.
I have seen many beautiful unisex body harnesses , delicate gauntlets running from finger to hand, scaled gauntlets covering ones arm in a reptilian Armour of jewels to sexy and daring shoe spats woven in silver, gunmetal, brass and gold.
One can dress it up over a sexy black evening dress or mash it up with your daily urban wear wardrobe. This unisex body jewelry makes a bold statement and may not be for the timid but for those who are on the edge of fashion.
